Technical Assistant

Director, CPCRI (ICAR), Kasaragod invites applications from the eligible candidates for filling up the following vacancies under Technical category at CPCRI (Hqrs.), Kasaragod and its Regional Stations/Research Centres located at various States/UT of Lakshadweep:

Name of the Post : Technical Assistant (Field Farm Technician)

1. No. of vacancies & Reservation status  : 04 (Reserved for SC-01, OBC-11 & Un Reserved-02) (Out of the 04 vacancies, availability of one vacancy(UR) will be subject  to clearance from ICAR, New Delhi)
2. Age limit :  Candidates age should be between 18 years to 30 years as on the closing date. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH candidates
3. Pay Band : PB-I 5200 – 20200 + GP 2800/
4. Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture /Horticulture/ Botany / Life Science / Geology from a recognized University.
5. Desirable: i. Lab / Field experience from an Agricultural/ Horticulture  Research and Development Institution.  ii. Computer knowledge  IS-30 years as on the closing date fixed for receipt of applications

1. Pay Band : PB-I 5200 – 20200 + GP 2800/
2. No. of vacancies & Reservation status : 02 (Reserved for ST – 01 & Un Reserved – 01) (Out of the 02 vacancies, availability of one vacancy(UR) will be subject  to clearance from ICAR, New Delhi)
3. Qualification Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Botany /   Chemistry / Life Science / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology from a recognized University.
4. Desirable:  Lab / Field experience from an Agricultural/ Horticulture  Research & Development Institution. Computer knowledge
5. Age limit 18-30 years as on the closing date fixed for receipt of applications

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.300/- through Demand Draft/ IPO drawn in favour of ICAR Unit, CPCRI, Kasaragod and no fee for SC/ ST/ PH and female candidates.
