AP Labour Welfare Board issuing Merit Scholarships for the Children of Labour who are working in Industries, Shops, Cooperative Societies, Companies, Offices, etc... The Andhra Pradesh Labour Welfare Department established by the Gov to Andhra Pradesh for implement Welfare Schemes and programs for the Labour and their Children both Boys and Girls. These Merit Scholarships are issuing in 2 categories Pre-Metric and Post-Metric Merit Scholarships for the Labour Children studying in 10th Class/SSC or ITI in 1 category and Children studying in Degree and Professional Courses like Engineering, Medicine, MBA, MCA, Law, B.Sc.(Vet), B.Sc.(Ag), B.Pharmacy, M.Pharmacy, BCA, BBA and New Courses like B.Sc-Nursing, B.Sc.-Horticulture, Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician, P.G.Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician/MLT, Bachelor Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine Surgery, Bachelor Degree in Dental Medicine Surgery and Diploma in Homeo Medicine and Surgery are included under the above Merit Scholarship Scheme for the Labour Children in the AP State.
