Name of the Discipline:
1. Metallurgy: 32 Posts
2. Mechanical: 28 Posts
3. Electrical: 21 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be born not earlier than 01-03-1987. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in the disciplines of Metallurgy/ Mechanical/ Electrical from a university/ institute recognized by AICTE with minimum 60% marks, should have qualified in GATE-2014 examination.
Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion/ Interview.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.150/- for General & OBC candidates, Rs.50/- for SC, ST, PWD candidates through fee payment challan/ pay-in-slip must be deposited in RINL-VSP Recruitment Account No: 30589461220 at any of the Core Banking Branches of State Bank of India (SBI). Candidates have to pay bank commission Rs.25/- per Challan for depositing fee at other than SBI, Steel Plant Branch, Visakhapatnam (Code 6318).
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.vizagsteel.com from 10-10-2014 to 20-10-2014 by 5:00 PM (Extended upto 05-11-2014 by 5:00 PM).
Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Candidates should have valid email ID, passport size photograph, signature, GATE-2014 Registration Number, GATE-2014 Score Card.
2. Log on through the website www.vizagsteel.com.
3. Click on the “Careers” —> Select the appropriate position applied for.
4. Click on the “Rectt Advt for the post of MT(T) through GATE-2014-Rectt Advt No. 08/2014 “.
5. Read the instructions carefully before applying online.
6. Now click on the “Apply Online” link.
7. Fill the details carefully and upload the scanned copies of photograph and signature.
8. Now enter the details of GATE Score card, registration number.
9. Now pay the fee through the challan form in any branch of SBI.
10. Log on to MT Online Application site again by entering the registration number/ email id/ DOB.
11. Fill the other details, check the details before submitting the form
12. Submit the application form an unique code with password will be displyed on the screen.
13. Now take the printout copies of application form for future use.
